Exhibits a medium dark ruby color as well as a big, sweet nose of raspberries, pomegranate, cranberries, and allspice. Round, rich, and elegant with a hint of sassafras, it should be drunk over the next 5-7 years.
Good medium red. Smoky red fruits, chocolate, leather and cola on the nose. Supple and lush, with a captivating spice character lifting the cocoa powder and mocha flavors. Very sweet, soft pinot, finishing with smooth tannins and subtle persistence.
Full red. Aromas of blueberry, smoke and fresh herbs, plus a whiff of sulfides. Fat and broad but uncompromisingly dry; showing more spice and cola than primary fruit. Finished with substantial ripe tannins and lovely persistence.

This straw-colored Chardonnay from Hartford Court is very good. It opens with a rich butterscotch and pear bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is full bodied and lush. The flavor profile is a rich butterscotch and lemon blend with notes of honey and lime. The finish lingers and lasts for quite a while. The Panel suggested pairing this Chard with lobster mac n’ cheese or lobster bisque with sherry.

This pale straw colored Chardonnay from Hartford Court showed well with the Tasting Panel. It opens with an oak influenced green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, round and smooth. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced apple with notes of oak, pineapple and ginger. We also detected a hint of clementine. The finish is dry and it lingers for a bit and shows a touch of heat. The Panel suggested pairing it with Cajun catfish or teriyaki chicken.
This wine has a pretty nose of apple blossom and jasmine. Present, persistent oak gives it a roundness and richness that complements mango, wet stone and lemon-drop flavors and tight focused acidity.
Hartford's 2014 Chardonnay Four Hearts Vineyards is seamless, textured and totally silky on the palate. Here it is the wine's palate feel and suave personality that stand out most. Peach, apricot pit, honey, butter and hazelnut are some of the signatures in this voluptuous Chardonnay. The Four Hearts is mostly old-vine fruit from Dehlinger.
